The One Nobody Notices

She stands there in the flowerbed, filling in the spaces. Like a backdrop for the garden’s prima donnas. She faithfully returns year after year, dutifully doing her job. Subtle and silent. Beautiful in her simplicity, she asks for little. She’s taken for granted and rarely noticed, except when one day she fails to appear and the gaps in the flowerbed become strikingly clear.

The series consists of a necklace, a brooch and a ring.

Silver and amethyst.
